Landscaping and Japanese painting h4>
The exhibition includes a series of works in which Vidal reveals the influence of authors such as Rothko or Esteban Vicente, but also of Japanese painting. As stated in the text of the explanatory brochure, the landscapes evoke a “diffuse territory of mists, contours, shadows, lights, clouds and uncertain profiles of distant landscapes, almost imperceptible trace of a mute nature, rocked by the shudder “.
The artist herself explains the contents of Vagandi mos: “Vagandi’s title I have chosen because it has to do with wandering, a state with which I feel comfortable in my way of being and working. They are indeed works that are inspired by the landscapes of Lanzarote and Madrid, although taken to an abstract and subtle way of interpreting them “, assured Nuria Vidal.
