More than a thousand people will say good bye to the year running in Puerto del Carmen
More than a thousand people will take part of the 19th San Silvestre Conejera, in the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen. The event will serve to say good bye, as is tradition in many places in Spain and the World, the last day of the year.
It will take place on Monday December 31 at the Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen and will have a distance of 5 kilometers. The race will be played in different categories and distances, between Playa Grande and Playa de los Pocillos, next to Plaza de las Naciones.
The children’s races will start at 4:00 pm, while the event will begin at 5:00 pm. The category of small will be integrated by cadets (14 and 15 years, and a distance of 2 kilometers); children (10 to 13 years, and a distance of 1 kilometer); Benjamins (9 and 8 years and a distance of 400 meters); and prebenjamines (2 to 7 years, and a distance of 200 meters).
The withdrawal of numbers will take place on Sunday, December 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the office of the Sports Department (Campo de Fútbol de Tías); and the same day of the test, on Monday, December 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the area where the finish will be located.
The nineteenth edition of the San Silvestre Conejera – Puerto del Carmen is organized by the City of Tías, through the Department of Sports, and Cavelanz (Athletics Club of Veterans of Lanzarote), with the collaboration of several entities and companies.
