La Cubana will offer 18 functions of its new work in Gran Canaria
The theater company La Cubana will be transported to the Cuyás Theater in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with its new show, ‘Adiós Arturo’. Specifically will offer 18 functions between April 4 and 21, 2019 in the tables of the Gran Canaria capital.
In a press release issued by the company, they explained that the new assembly goes “from that theater that we do in our daily life and goes unnoticed as a theater, that theater that is on the street, in the markets, in our works, in the family, with our friends and of course, also socially, where we deploy our interpretative skills in all kinds of events, paripés, parties, weddings, baptisms, communions and burials.
The synopsis of the new work is part of the death, at 101 years of age, of a multi-talented international artist, Arturo Cirera Mompou, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria a little more than a century ago.
The prestigious company affirms “not being able to reveal more because the secret and the surprise return to be the protagonists of the show and the public will discover it at the time”. Tickets for the return of the company La Cubana to Gran Canaria will go on sale on next Monday, day 24, on the Cuyás theater website.
