Lanzarote Music Festivals’ will be a seal of quality for the promotion of the island through music
The landscapes of Lanzarote have been discovering themselves also as the ideal place for the placement of natural scenarios where you can enjoy music. An added attraction to all the benefits that the island already gives to residents and tourists.
Outdoor concerts and Lanzarote have gone hand in hand in recent years, so the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society (SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote) is working on the development of a new tourist product called ‘Lanzarote Music Festivals’, with the aim of to continue with its policy of diversification and qualification of the tourist offer of Lanzarote.
The granting of 20,000 euros by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, will promote the creation of this new product, which will be added to others already consolidated as’ European Sports Destination ‘or’ Lanzarote Film Commission ‘directed to the promotion of the island, as a scenario of international prestige sports events or as a natural enclave for filming of spots and other cinematographic activities, respectively.
Among the first steps that will be taken for the creation of the new tourist product ‘Lanzarote Music Festivals’ will begin with the creation of a working table that will have the participation of the Culture Area of the Cabildo and promoters of musical festivals that are organized in the island.
Tourism Lanzarote will support through “Lanzarote Music Festivals” the celebration of this type of events that contribute to qualify the tourist offer and improve the spending at destination, optimize the tourist experience and increase their level of loyalty.
