‘Rescue drones in water rescue’, talk

The Security, Emergency, Salvage, Fire Prevention and Extinction Consortium of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, coordinated by the counselor of the first Juan Manuel Sosa Corporation, offers on 23 February in Playa Blanca the talk “Rescue Drones in Safe Water” 10.00 in the Association of Neighbors of Playa Blanca and later exhibition in the beach of the town at 11.30. It already has 25 registered.

This activity is designed mainly for organizations or groups that work in security and protection, although it is open to any interested party. The Consortium supports the work of the 112 Canary Islands that is committed to new technologies at the service of emergencies, in this case emergencies that occur on our coasts. The day will have as axis a rescue drone, as a new tool to support rescue teams and lifeguards on beaches.

10:00 – 11:00. Presentation at the Neighborhood Association of La Aurora

The operational capabilities of Auxdron LFG will be shown with examples from the past, in surveillance tasks – prevention and action. Its technical characteristics for its implementation (autonomies, resistance to wind and corrosive environments, speeds, recharges etc.).

Legal aspects and requirements to carry out the implementation successfully (example Sagunto 2018)

Advance on the practical exercise that is going to be carried out on the beach.

11:30 Practical exercises on the beach of the town

Surveillance and prevention route: Sweeping of the bathing area that ensures no dangers for bathers. Of great importance in the daily opening and closing of the service.

Action: Simulation of real intervention in which it will be possible to verify how Auxdron LFG is integrated into the action and rescue protocols.
