The Historical Heritage Service of the Cabildo de Lanzarote has organized a new interpreted route, of medium difficulty, to get to know the Fiquinineo deposit and the real road environment from the towns of Teguise to Soo.
The activity, which will take place next Saturday, April 6, is completely free, although places are limited. From the Arrecife Exhibition Center, a bus will depart at 9 a.m., with the return scheduled at 1:30 p.m.
The interpreted route will cross one of the oldest communication routes of Lanzarote, the royal road that joined the population of settlers in the foothills of the Soo Mountain and the Great Village, located in the Villa de Teguise. Also, the tour will go through the area of Jable de Arriba, one of the most emblematic and unique spaces of the Canary Islands with a special biological, geographical and historical richness from the aboriginal era to the present.
