Yaiza has prepared an April full of activities
The municipality of Yaiza has prepared a wide range of cultural, sports and leisure activities for this April, which can be consulted at this link.
Playa Blanca hosts the first weekend of the month, 6 and 7 April, the ‘Cheese Fair’ and the second delivery of the ‘Big Bopper Jamboree’ meeting, coinciding and complementary appointments of high participation in the southern touristic town. The Cheese Fair provides tastings, workshops and a host of activities to enjoy as a family while the Big Bopper is presented as a marathon of rock and roll bands and rockabilly, in the Plaza del Carmen, in memory of the fifties .
April is also a month of letters. On Saturday, April 27, Playa Blanca celebrates its eighth edition of the Book Fair, a day dedicated to storytelling, book presentations, exchange of experiences with authors, children’s activities and music. On this same day, the Castillo del Águila Association and the Yaiza City Council awarded the prizes of the White Beach Story Contest. Also in April, new writing workshops for children and adults begin.
The municipality also makes its particular nod to Andalusia in April. The Plaza de Playa Blanca dresses in flamenco on the 13th and 14th with gastronomy and live music. All the information here.
