There is still time to register for the studies at the Centro Insular de Enseñanzas Musicales

The pre-registration period to study at the Insular Center of Musical Education (CIEM) is still open. Those interested will have until next April 23 and may submit their applications in the CIEM’s administration office, from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Monday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., enclosing a photocopy of the ID of the interested party.

At present, CIEM offers a wide range of specialties such as: Music and Movement, Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Double Bass, Singing, Electric Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Percussion, Timple, Piano and guitar. Also, since the last year, the subject of Music and Movement has been taught since the age of 5 years.

For access by those who do not have previous musical knowledge, a public drawing will be held next Wednesday, May 8, at 6:00 pm in the CIEM’s Assembly Hall. On the other hand, applicants who have access to previous musical knowledge will be able to take an entrance exam, since it is not allowed to enroll in the two entrance modalities. The minimum age for this modality will be 8 years.
