Playa Blanca celebrates its book fair this Saturday

Yaiza celebrates its Book Fair in the tourist resort of Playa Blanca on Saturday, April 27. The meeting place will be Plaza del Carmen where you can find a varied program that mixes literature, workshops, games and stage performances, a whole day to learn new titles, review classics, talk with writers and enjoy family activities that energize This eighth encounter with the lyrics in the south of Lanzarote from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

With the opening of the Fair and its stands come the first activities, including a comic book creation workshop and the presentation of the book ‘Órzola’ by the writer based in Lanzarote Ismael Lozano.

The meeting provides for activities of the Animal Protection Area in the afternoon; more workshops; visit of dinosaurs, presentation of the book ‘Everything that I never told you’ by the writer and professor Miguel Aguerralde, who periodically teaches literary creation workshops in Playa Blanca; the performance of the children’s group Sara y Tontón with their musical ‘Cocouaua’; to end with the delivery of the Awards of the VII Contest of Tales of Playa Blanca, call for encouragement to the creation and promotion of reading promoted by the Cultural Association Castillo del Águila and the City of Yaiza.
