All prepared for the festival of music, light and legends Acatife 600
The Cultural Association Acatife finalize the preparations for the musical musical Acatife 600 that will be held tomorrow night at the Plaza de los Leones in La Villa de Teguise.
“A unique event for a unique site such as the Historical Set of the Real Villa Teguise”. This was defined by the artistic director of the Association, Orlando Callero, who anticipated some details of how it will be “a magical night in which we have been working for almost one year, and in which all the cultural associations of the municipality of Teguise will participate” .
Tradition, image, music, ancestrality, poetry, history, lighting, dance, legends, theater … All this and much more will have Acatife 600, which emerged as an idea to close the 600 years of stories and legends of the Villa de Teguise and to be held outdoors with the participation of the Easter Ranch, the Polyphonic Choir, the Esperanza Spínola theater group, the Calicanto group, the Batucada Villa Pipol, Maho Village, Guagime, Altaja, La Gran Aldea, Guanapay and Los Diabletes .
“We are going to bring all the associations together in a very pleasant act, with a great cultural and traditional load”, added Callero, who also highlighted “the great work that has been done on an artistic and musical level”. The presentation was also attended by the vice president of the association, Carlos Hernández, and Acatife’s musical director, Ito Hernández, who announced that “six unpublished songs dedicated to the history of Teguise will be performed, and that in the rest of the show, One hour and a half in length, all groups will join the Acatife repertoire, including the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote, which will cover mythical themes for the first time.
