The consolidated festival that takes music to the streets every September and October has won seven nominations at the Iberian Festival Awards.

Between the possibilities of prize they emphasize the one of ‘Better festival of half format’. We must remember that in 2016, ‘Arrecife en vivo’ won the same awards in the category ‘Best small format festival’. This category break demonstrates the work and growth of the event within the island’s cultural scene.

It will also compete in the categories ‘Best tourist promotion’ and ‘Best contribution to sustainability’, two categories of intangible elements that give a bonus of added value.

The festival has also been nominated in the categories ‘Better communication’ and ‘Better infrastructure’. And two performances by groups that performed on the ‘Reef Live’ have also been nominated. The one from ‘La Pegatina’ and the one from ‘Clap your hands ans say yeah’.

The awards will be presented on March 13 in Lisbon.
