‘Ali: Fear eats the soul’ – Cycle ‘La Muestra presents’

Directed and scripted by Rainer Werner Fassbinder in 1974. In a cafe where immigrant workers go, Emmi Kurowski, a widow in her sixties, meets Salem, a Moroccan in her thirties. Induced by the owner of the bar, Salem invites Emmi to dance, talk, accompany her home and, the next day, stays to live with her. This relationship causes a great scandal, and the neighbors visit the owner of the building to denounce Emmi.
