‘César Manrique. 100 years of life ‘, exhibition

The traveling exhibition, ‘César Manrique. 100 years of life ‘is currently on display at the Sociedad La Democracia of Arrecif. The exhibition is curated by Adonay Bermúdez.
 
It offers a chronological and informative reading of the production of César Manrique, with the aim of bringing the life and work of the artist to all audiences.
 
The Democracy Society is the third space that hosts this exhibition since it began its itinerary on June 7 at the headquarters of Correos de Arrecife and has been shown at the Municipal Library of La Laguna. It is expected that the show can be seen in La Democracia until July 11 and then continue its journey through more than 20 spaces of various kinds such as Fred’s passenger terminal. ‘César Manrique. 100 years of life ‘is composed of thirty panels with images and texts that include not only the artist’s pictorial work, but also his public and sculptural work. Likewise, this exhibition highlights its work of environmental protection and its activist character through its own words
