Concert of Lanzarote Ensemble in the Jameos del Agua – Canary Islands Day

To celebrate the Canary Islands Day, the Lanzarote Ensemble will hold a new concert that will have root music as its main inspiration. With the Ensemble as a whole and with the accompaniment of the Acatife folk group and the timplista José Vicente Pérez, the musical group will adapt several pieces of Canarian folklore to the symphonic timbres, among which we can mention an interpretation of the “Cantos Canarios” by Teobaldo Power, music that has served as inspiration for the Canary Islands Anthem.
