On February 22 and 23, the next ‘Custody of the Territory of Lanzarote’ will take place, which will address the actions carried out on the island aimed at the conservation of landscape and territory, both by public administrations and through initiatives private.

The speakers will include the head of the aforementioned Óscar Prada Platform, who will speak, among other aspects, on the Custody of the Territory as a set of strategies and instruments that aim to involve the owners and users of the territory in the conservation and good use of values ​​and natural, cultural and landscape resources. Also participating as speakers are the members of the Governing Board of the Agrarian Transformation Society (SAT) El Jable, Ascension Robayna; and Lourdes Rodríguez, administrator of La Molina de José María Gil, among others.

Open to the general public, they will also have the assistance and participation of members of Lanzarote associations and collectives such as the Grevislan Special Employment Center belonging to the Association of People with Disabilities of Lanzarote (Adislan), the Pueblo Maho Cultural Association or Desert Watch Lanzarote , among others. The conference will open at 9.30 am on Friday, February 22, in the Plenary Hall of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, and on Saturday, the 23rd, there will be a field trip.
