This basic course aims to introduce students to communication with deaf people, on the one hand, to the knowledge of the characteristics inherent to this type of communication (what is the sign language, what is a deaf person, how many sign languages exist, etc.), and, on the other hand, to the study of the dactylographic alphabet and the basic vocabulary (presentation, sign / personal name, days of the week, numbers, time …).
The course has a recognition of 1 ECTS credit and will be taught by qualified deaf teachers, specialist in Spanish Sign Language, certified by the State Confederation of Deaf People (CNSE).
