Daahoud Salim Quintet – Cueva de los Verdes Music Festival

The proposal presented by Daahoud Salim Quintet is firmly committed to originality and artistic quality, combining elements of more traditional jazz at a compositional level, but with a more contemporary and experimental conception and nature, touching themes related to the reality of the moment.

The live quintet wastes energy, spirituality and a high level of communication with the viewer that does not leave the public indifferent. Daahoud Salim Quintet also stands out for its multiculturalism, with roots divided between Holland, Spain, Germany and South Korea, among others; and bases his performances on compositions by Daahoud Salim and his father, Abdu Salim, one of the pioneers of jazz in Spain, founder of the first jazz school in Andalusia, and a source of inspiration for the group.
