IX ENCOUNTER OF HIKING IN LANZAROTE

The Hiking Encounter in Lanzarote 2018 has approximately 1,500 seats, of which some 200 are reserved for the youngest. Each hiking trip has a limit of places, so a pre-registration is necessary. Registration is free and open from November 1, 2018. You can make your reservation online at this link.

People who do not show up to 2 trails for those who reserved a place, will lose their right to a place for the other trails. To cancel a place in advance, you must make an appointment via email to senderismolanzarote@gmail.com or by phone at 690053282 or 680565021.

Friday, November 30
12:00 hours: Presentation of the IX Meeting of Hiking in Lanzarote. Press conference where the acts of the meeting are described and given as inaugurated. Cabildo of Lanzarote.
12:00 hours: Opening of photographic exhibitions, Tourist Information Office of Playa Blanca, Tourist Information Office of Costa Teguise and Teguise, Tourism Information Office of Puerto del Carmen and Tinajo Theater.
8:00 pm: Inauguration of the exhibition “Paredes y paredones”. Democracy Society Arrecife.
8:30 pm: Inaugural talk “The popular and rural architecture of Lanzarote: historical and stylistic analysis”
Speaker: María José Morales García. Lic. Geography and history. Academic Deputy Director of the University School of Tourism of Lanzarote, attached to the ULPGC. Professor of the Department of Art, City and Territory. Democracy Society Arrecife.
