“Mobiles and drawing”, an exhibition by Laura Mesa

In art, the visible (the form) is what is really important, because it is the representation of an idea or an intention: the image of a mobile. The creation processes of Laura Mesa consist in the sustained repetition of an action that implies a constant and repeated movement during the construction of the work, almost like a mantra, through which she draws the visible form in which her works crystallize, understood as thought turned into action, condensed action in the matter of drawing.
