VII Cheese and goat fair

From the 6th to the 7th of April, a street food contest will take place in the seaside village of Playa Blanca, in the south of the island, with the close coexistence of the tourists who spend their holidays here and the residents and in which cheese and goat meat are the protagonists.

Visitors can enjoy all the varieties of cheese that are made on the island, as well as delicious culinary creations where local cheese and goat meat become the stars of the place, all made by restaurateurs of the island and always Marinated with the excellent Malvasías DO Lanzarote wines. It is a place where you are in direct contact with the farmers, master cheesemakers and chefs, all animated with live music and eager to have fun.

In this fair and with the idea of ​​promoting our sector of insular goat farming through the valorization of cheese and goat meat as its main exponents, several live demonstrations are carried out, showcooking by renowned chefs, in addition to other activities that contribute to encourage this traditional event.
