Walk between Conil and La Candelaria for over 60 years

The Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Insular Sports Service directed by the councilor Lorenzo Reyes (PP), has scheduled for next Saturday, January 26, a tour reserved for people over 60, which will run along 4 kilometers between Conil and La Candelaria, within the municipality of Tías.

With a medium-low level of difficulty, the walk will depart at 9.30 am from the Sociocultural Center of Conil crossing the Peña del Asiento, the Camino de Casitas Blancas and the Camino de La Vega until arriving after an hour and a half of travel approximately Plaza de la Candelaria in Tías, where participants will enjoy a snack and a dance.

The walk, for which sports clothing and footwear is recommended, is framed in the program ‘Walks for the Elderly’, physical-sporting and recreational activity that has the collaboration of the seven town councils of the island and promotes fraternization among the participants, so it includes leisure activities and entertainment such as games, music and relaxation. Registration can be made until January 23 at the town councils of the island.
