‘Éxitos compartidos’, the annual event of the School of Young Entrepreneurs
nspiring and motivating adolescents to develop an entrepreneurial attitude towards life, learning not to remain stuck and generating new ideas, are just some of the objectives of the ‘Éxitos compartidos’ event, organized by the School of Young Entrepreneurs of Lanzarote, El Recetario Financiero, a pioneering educational program at the national level, which depends on the education council of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, February 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and will be attended by the director of the School of Young Entrepreneurs, Vanessa Marrero and the insular counselor of Education, Carmen Rosa Márquez, in addition to the invited young entrepreneurs who will share with the students their personal and professional experiences so that it serves as an example and source of inspiration and offers them a realistic vision of the world of entrepreneurship.
Thus, among the speakers stand out, Alba Balada, instructor of yoga and mindfulness, who won the first prize Lanzarote Emprende 2018 awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote, for its Calma Campus project, an online platform that aims to accompany people to eliminate their stress and be happier, with proposals tailored to each profile and specific situation.
They will also offer their experiences, the young entrepreneur Ignacio Rivero, who won the second prize of Lanzarote Emprende 2018 with his initiative El Árbol Creativo, and Jezabel M. Guadalupe and Mónica de León, creators of Hinchaaventura.
For its part, the director of the School, Vanessa Marrero, explained that “the ‘Shared Successes’ event is an enormously enriching experience for all parties since, on the one hand, young students benefit from meeting exemplary entrepreneurs in which reflect and, on the other, the speakers are enriched by contributing their experiences to promote personal and professional development.
