King África will be the bomb of the Day Carnival of San Bartolomé
On Tuesday, March 5, due to the success of last year’s edition, San Bartolomé will celebrate its day carnival: a family edition with parades and musical performances such as Treintytantos and Dj Ángel Pérez.
The highlight will be the presence on stage of the legendary King Africa (13:30) that will entertain the event singing each of his greatest hits. Precisely this year 2019, the 20th anniversary of his first hit ‘The Bomb’ is celebrated.
In 1999, he released this version of the Bolivian band Azul Azul. Such was the repercussion of this song that not only sounded in Latin America and Spain, but in countries like Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania and Holland. That summer King Africa performed more than 150 concerts around the world and his CD became a Gold Record in our country, Portugal and Belgium.
