Lanzarote is present in the 32nd edition of the Insular Fair of Crafts of Fuerteventura
Lanzarote returns to have presence in the XXXII Insular Fair of Handicrafts Fuerteventura 2019. This fair, one of the most representative of the Canary Islands, was inaugurated last Thursday with the participation of more than 200 artisans from all over the region, of which a dozen They are artisans of Lanzarote.
The island artisans, who represent practically the entire repertoire of artisan crafts from the Canary Islands, will present their work in order to promote the handicraft sector among the thousands of visitors that are expected to attend this exhibition until next Sunday, May 12.
In this way, Lanzarote presents a beautiful and peculiar stand, designed by the insular craftswoman Carmen Corujo and made with the warp technique, that is, the set of threads placed in parallel and along the loom to pass through the plot and form a tissue In the display will be displayed fabrics, empleitas, basketry of pírgano, rosettes or hats, among other handicrafts.
It is worth remembering that this same exhibitor has also been present at the Handicraft Fair of Lanzarote in Mancha Blanca and at the Regional Handicrafts Fair of the Canary Islands.
