The new exhibition of La Casa Amarilla analyzes ‘Architecture after architecture without architects’

This exhibition is the result of work in preparation for the monograph ‘Architecture after architecture without architects’ in which a reflection on the importance of the book by César Manrique ‘Lanzarote Architecture unpublished’ is proposed.
The exhibition develops one of the thematic axes of the monograph: the radical functional transformations that began with the construction of the Casa-Museo del Campesino in 1964, culminating in the unpublished Lanzarote Architecture publication.
On the ways of living. Architecture after architecture without architects’ has works by artists Rubén Acosta, Teresa Arozena, Karina Beltrán, Virgilio Gutiérrez, Ángel Padrón, Carlos Schwartz, Nuria Vidal and with two original proposals aimed at children organized by the Department of Education and Cultural Action of the Centers (DEAC).
The exhibition can be visited at the Yellow House, in Arrecife, until February 29, 2020.
