The ‘Reading of the portrait’ will open the La Cabina exhibition hall

The Canarian artist Sofía Hernández opens this year ‘La Cabina’ of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers with ‘La lectura del retrato’. It can be visited from February 1 until April 1.

The installation aims at the intuitive stimulation of the viewer through the portrait’s methodology. Encourage the viewer to explore the variety of samples through an intimate look whose objective is to suggest the character of the person portrayed, their essence and even a story.

This exhibition inaugurates the new season of artistic actions in a new space, which formerly housed the MIAC telephone booth, and which is currently conceived as a place for contemporary and audiovisual arts, among others.
