The XXV Crossing to Nado San Ginés will refresh the morning of this Saturday in Arrecife
The coast of Arrecife will host next Saturday, August 17, the XXV Cruise to Nado San Ginés, one of the oldest swimming events in the Canary Islands and is organized by the Royal Casino Nautical Club of Arrecife in collaboration with the Cabildo from Lanzarote.
Since its inception, the objective of this test has been to promote sports and swimming, through a day of open doors to the entire Lanzarote society within the framework of the capital festivities held in August.
The Cruise to San Ginés Swim is an official stage of the Lanzarote Open Water Cup organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote through the Insular Sports Service directed by the advisor Francisco Javier Aparicio.
According to the organizers, the number of 400 participants is expected to be reached. The test will have four different routes for Pre-Benjamin (50 meters), Benjamin (400 meters), Alevín (800 meters) Children, Junior and Master (1,200 meters). The departures to the Alevín category will be from the ramp of the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife from 2:00 pm, while the departure for Children, Junior and Master, will be from the beach of La Rocar and the goal will be located on the beach ramp of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife.
Trophies will be awarded after 4:00 pm and there will be medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd category of Benjamin, Alevín, Infantil, Júnior and Máster, both male and female, in all modalities and absolute champions.
