‘Trio de Ases’, piano, violin and cello concert to commemorate Manrique
The César Manrique Foundation and the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote present ‘Trio de Ases’, a piano, violin and cello concert. The show will take place on Friday, December 20, at 8:00 p.m., in the José Saramago hall of La Plazuela (Arrecife).
“Trio de Ases” is composed of musicians: Josu Okiñena on piano, David Ballesteros on violin and Ángel Luis Quintana on cello. During their concert they will perform a repertoire based mainly on works by Spanish composers.
Admission to the event is free but for reasons of limited capacity people interested in attending must previously withdraw the invitation. A maximum of two per person will be delivered. The invitations may be withdrawn from December 17 at the headquarters of the FCM, from 09:00 to 15:00 hours, until they are sold out.
This lyric concert, offered by the FCM and the OCL at the gates of Christmas, is the last activity of the second quarter of the program that the institution is carrying out to commemorate the centenary of the birth of its founder. On January 14, the Foundation will resume its cultural calendar with “Manrique Perspective”, a conference that will last three days and in which 30 speakers will present their vision on the work, activism or figure of the artist, in a dynamic format of successive interventions between 12 and 15 minutes.
