‘Unpublished architecture’ will be edited again by the centenary of Manrique

During the year of celebrations for the centenary of César Manrique, the Cabildo of Lanzarote will present a reissue of the book ‘Arquitectura Inédita’ whose authorship is of the artist himself and his collaborators Fernando Higueras, Agustín de Espinosa, Juan Ramírez de Lucas, Francisco Nieva, Carlos de Miguel and José María Vellíbre.

The work that was published for the first time in 1974. It is an indispensable icon to know the popular architecture of Lanzarote. The last reissue was made in 1988. Now, 31 years later it is again available to the public on the centenary of the birth of César Manrique.

This third edition is facsimile to the one published in 1974, to which is added the inclusion as a collaborator to Francisco Rojas Fariña, Fachico, not mentioned in previous editions. The presentation of the new edition will take place in the near future in the CIC El Amacén of Arrecife.
