[Video] An interactive video shows the tips for a safe Pilgrimage to Los Dolores
This Saturday, September 14, the Pilgrimage of Los Dolores is celebrated, one of the most massive events in Lanzarote. For this reason, an interactive video has been edited for residents and tourists, detailing the recommendations and advice for pilgrims and drivers who will travel from all the municipalities of the island to Mancha Blanca in Tinajo during the pilgrimage.
People who access the video will be able to know in detail the safest routes to walk to Los Dolores, the roads affected by traffic cuts, bus lines enabled and schedules, road safety tips, telephones and emergency posts, among others.
Tips for walkers include:
-Eat and hydrate frequently.
– Rest when needed to avoid exhaustion.
-Use comfortable shoes, breathable warm clothes and sun protection garments.
-On the road, walk on the left so that you can see and be seen by the approaching vehicles.
-Walk along the shoulder. If it does not exist or is impassable, drive along the road, as close as possible to the edge. If there are several people, walk one after the other.
-The road users are obliged to behave in a way that does not unduly hinder the traffic or cause unnecessary danger, damage or inconvenience to other people, or to public or private goods.
