The restaurant at Castillo de San José will be the venue for "Bahía Sonora", a new proposal from the Centros Turísticos that combines gastronomy with live music.
The renovated menu of the emblematic restaurant and the artistic creativity of the young Lanzarote-born pianist Jorge Caluz come together in an experience designed to enjoy an unforgettable evening in the old Fortaleza del Hambre, transformed by César Manrique 50 years ago.
"Bahía Sonora" will take place on 4 and 18 June, starting at 7:45 PM, under the titles "Bajo la luz de la luna" and "Brisa de verano". For approximately 50 minutes, Caluz will perform a repertoire inspired by the landscape, the night, the sea, and the Atlantic atmosphere of Lanzarote, combining songs in Spanish and English with his delicate and understated style.

"Bajo la luz de la luna" will begin around 7:45 PM on 4 June. Attendees will be able to enjoy a top-quality gastronomic experience while Caluz performs on the piano well-known and recognisable pieces such as Hijo de la luna by Mecano, Fly Me to the Moon by Sinatra, Moon River by Henry Mancini, and A la caldera by the Canarian group Taburiente, among others.
With the same format, "Brisa de verano" on 18 June will feature hits such as Alfonsina y el mar by Mercedes Sosa, Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish, La isla bonita by Madonna, Ojitos Lindos by Bad Bunny & Bomba Estéreo, and Feeling Good by Nina Simone.
