The ninth edition of Class_ik Lanzarote gets under way on 5 September with Trompetissimo, a concert that brings together trumpeters Chano Gil and Andriy Ilkiv with pianists Óliver Curbelo and Natalia Ilkiv on stage. The concert takes place at 8:00 pm at the Teatro Municipal de Tías and marks the start of a new edition of the festival.
Born of the friendship and artistic collaboration between Chano Gil and Andriy Ilkiv, Trompetissimo sets up a nuanced dialogue between trumpets and piano, combining virtuosity, sensitivity and different ways of understanding music. The encounter brings together different careers and musical cultures that converge in a universal language, designed to reach all kinds of audiences.
The concert opens a new edition of Class_ik Lanzarote with a different musical experience, both for island residents and for visitors. Tickets cost €15.
