Club de Golf de Costa Teguise will be one of the venues for European Music Day in the Canary Islands on 20 June, with Lajarana Vol. 1, an event that will bring together bands, producers and selectors from a range of musical styles throughout the afternoon and into the night.
Doors open at 14:00 and the event is billed as a mix of live music, DJ sets and an atmosphere made for enjoying outdoors.
Music line-up
The line-up is headed by the bands Belice and Everybody. Gran Canaria's Belice have become one of the most notable emerging names in Canarian indie pop thanks to their first album, Todas las flores, a record that has taken them to festivals both on and off the islands and earned them recognition such as the Premios Canarios de la Música.
Alongside them will be Everybody, plus a wide selection of DJs and selectors covering genres as varied as electronica, cumbia, reggae, dub and world music.
