Haría Town Council has opened enrolment for the 2026/2027 academic year at the Escuela Municipal de Enseñanzas Musicales, running until the end of the month or until all places are filled.
The municipal school offers a wide range of disciplines and courses designed to bring music to people of different ages and to encourage musical learning from the earliest stages. The options available include introduction to music, percussion, timple, guitar, singing, drums, electronic music and introduction to DJing, piano and folk music, among others.
Tuition is organised into two cycles: an initial one for children aged 3 to 7, which includes the subject Music and Movement, and another from the age of 8, in which students can join the basic cycle, receiving training in music theory as well as choosing the instrument they want to learn.
Classes begin on 1 October and places will be allocated strictly in order of registration. As for fees, instrument and introduction-to-music classes cost €25 a month, while each additional instrument costs €10 a month. Classes with the municipal choir and band, as well as the folk music group, cost €15 a month each.
There is also a 50% discount on monthly fees for large families and for students with a legally recognised disability of 33% or more, subject to application and proof of the relevant status.
To complete enrolment, applicants must submit the relevant form, duly filled in, the third-party registration form (alta a terceros) with Haría Town Council and, for students not registered as residents of Haría, proof of payment of the €10 enrolment fee to account number: ES11 2100 4581 4613 0017 1057.
Documents can be handed in person at the Registro General of Haría Town Council, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, or through the council's online services portal (sede electrónica).
