Centro Sociocultural La Vega will host, on Friday 22 May at 7:00 PM, a new chamber music event within the cultural programme promoted in Arrecife. On this occasion, the stage will welcome Deux Arts Dúo, formed by clarinettist Radovan Cavallin and cellist Jelena Očić, in a proposal that seeks to bring this musical format closer to the audience through proximity and shared listening.
The performance will also feature narrator José Carlos Campos, adding an educational dimension that broadens the scenic experience and opens it to diverse audiences. The repertoire offers a sonic journey marked by dance, rhythm, and emotion, moving through references ranging from the majorera polka to tango, flamenco, jazz, and other musical languages.
Radovan Cavallin has a solid international career as a soloist and chamber musician, and has been principal clarinet of the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra since 1989. Jelena Očić has developed a recognised career as a cellist marked by virtuosity and expressive intensity. The concert, organised together with the Fundación Nino Díaz, will have free admission until full capacity is reached.
