La Recova hosts a day of food, music and crafts this Saturday with 'El Patio de los Sabores'

La Recova Municipal in Arrecife will be the setting this Saturday 13 June for a new edition of El Patio de los Sabores, a day-long event bringing together tastings of local produce, cookery demonstrations, traditional crafts and live music. The initiative is part of the Qué bien me sabe Arrecife project and aims to introduce the public to the flavours, trades and cultural expressions bound up with Lanzarote's identity.

Between 11:00 and 16:30, the venue will host tastings of cheeses, wines, mojos (Canarian sauces), jams and smoothies made with zero-kilometre produce, along with several showcookings and displays of traditional crafts. The programme is rounded off by performances from El Golpito, Malpeis, Parranda Los Labradores and Parranda La Aldaba (traditional Canarian folk groups), in a day designed for enjoying local food and culture in the heart of Arrecife.
