Lanzarote rock takes centre stage at an evening of film and debate at El Almacén

Cine Club Lanzarote looks back at the history of rock made on the island with a screening of Inadaptados: Rock & Roll desesperado, a documentary directed by José María de Páiz in 2026. The session takes place on Saturday 29 August, at 7:00 pm, at El Almacén, coinciding with the Festival de Rock San Ginés, with free admission by prior booking.

The documentary looks at Inadaptados, a band formed in Arrecife and known for its energetic live shows and a musical personality that made it one of the most distinctive acts on the island's alternative scene. The session will also revisit another local band with the screening of a short film devoted to Las Mayorets.

The evening will close with the round table La cara B del rock conejero (The B-side of Lanzarote rock), moderated by Jonás MF, which will take a wider look at Lanzarote's rock scene and its history. Free invitations can be booked through Ecoentradas.
