Pepe Martín opens the ‘Conciertos Hablados’ series in Arrecife

The Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz will host the first session of ‘Conciertos Hablados’ this Friday 26 June at 19:30, a new initiative led by Lanzarote musician Ciro Corujo that offers a different way of approaching music, combining live performance with conversation and shared reflection.

The opening session will feature singer and guitarist Pepe Martín, who will run through some of the most representative songs by artists such as Joaquín Sabina, Joan Manuel Serrat, Ismael Serrano, Pedro Guerra and Silvio Rodríguez. The aim is to uncover not only the melodies and lyrics, but also the stories, emotions and experiences hidden behind each composition.

After each performance, the songs will serve as a starting point for an open dialogue between the participants and the audience, turning the concert into an intimate, participatory experience in which music also becomes conversation.

With a long career on Lanzarote's stages, Pepe Martín has established himself as one of the familiar voices of the island's music scene. Admission is free until the venue is full.
