Playa Quemada is all set for its local fiestas, running from 26 July to 2 August with a programme of tournaments, workshops, live music, children's activities, outdoor events and a final day designed for the whole family.
The programme opens with the bola and envite championships and continues all week with workshops, parranda (folk music) nights, musical performances, a maritime gathering, a verbena (open-air dance), family cinema and the traditional water party.

Sunday 26 July
10:00 am Draw and start of the mixed bola tournament. Note: teams may include only one federated player.
8:00 pm Draw and start of the envite tournament in the fiestas marquee.
Monday 27 July
6:00 pm Draw and start of the dominoes tournament.
8:00 pm Draw and start of the ronda tournament in the fiestas marquee.
Tuesday 28 July
8:00 pm Bingo with prizes in the fiestas marquee.
Wednesday 29 July
5:30 pm Children's activities on the beach.

5:30 pm Children's workshop in the fiestas marquee.
6:00 pm Adults' talega (traditional cloth bag) workshop in the fiestas marquee. Limited places, first come, first served.

Friday 31 July
5:30 pm Children's workshop in the fiestas marquee.
6:00 pm Adults' workshop “Pinta tu copa de vino” (paint your wine glass) in the fiestas marquee. Limited places, first come, first served.
