The Ayuntamiento de Teguise and the Federación de Asociaciones Agropecuarias y Pesqueras (FASAT), with the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Gobierno de Canarias, have unveiled the programme for the 5th Feria de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca, to be held from 4 to 7 June at the Centro Agrotecnológico — once again placing the municipality at the heart of the island's primary sector.
The event reaches its fifth edition firmly established as one of the key dates on the island's calendar, having drawn over 40,000 visitors last time around — a figure that reflects the growth of an event that has become a gathering point for professionals, producers, associations, families and the wider public.
Programme
The 5th Feria de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca once again features a broad and diverse programme for all audiences, with over a hundred proposals linked to local produce, gastronomic experiences, livestock, traditions, outreach and innovation.
The fair opens on Thursday 4 June with an inaugural ceremony and a tribute to young and senior members of the primary sector, kicking off four days that will once again turn the Centro Agrotecnológico de Teguise into a meeting point for professionals, producers, families and visitors.
Over the weekend, the venue will be open from 09:30 with a continuous programme running into the evening. Planned activities include school and senior visits, workshops, competitions, demonstrations, family activities and professional networking. This edition also expands its capacity with more stalls and a greater livestock presence.
New additions include participatory experiences around local product making, butter and cream cheese workshops, milking competitions for all ages, new proposals from Saborea Lanzarote and spaces dedicated to innovation, such as the Digital Immersion of Lanzarote's Agricultural Environment project, delivered by Teno Osorio.
This fifth edition also shines a spotlight on the role of women in the primary sector and features livestock demonstrations, yoke handling, traditional tool displays, morphological competitions, horse races, exhibitions and live music, reinforcing a programme that bridges tradition, identity and the future.

The closing ceremony takes place on Sunday 7 June with the awards for agricultural and livestock competitions and the official end of an edition that once again establishes Teguise as the benchmark for the island's primary sector. Full programme.
