Tinajo will celebrate its fiestas in honour of San Roque from 6 to 21 August with a wide-ranging programme that combines concerts, a romería (pilgrimage procession), workshops, theatre, sport, food, religious events and children's activities for all ages. Residents and visitors can enjoy more than two weeks of events spread across different venues in the municipality.
Highlights include the pregón (opening address) by Benedicto Cabrera Tejera, the Romería de la Vendimia, the XXV Festival AMC Timbayba “40 años al sol”, the concert by Las K-Narias, performances by numerous parrandas (folk music groups) and bands, the solemn procession on San Roque's day and the show by comedian Kike Pérez closing the main day.

Thursday 6 August
8:30 pm Pregón delivered by Don Benedicto Cabrera Tejera, a specialist in agriculture and pest control.
This will be followed by a performance by timple player Alexis Lemes, guitarist Adrián Niz and soloist Almudena Hernández.
Then a concert by the band Alegranza at the ventorrillo (festival food and drink stall) in the Plaza de San Roque.
Friday 7 August
5:00 to 7:00 pm Children's/family pinwheel workshop in the Plaza de San Roque.
6:00 pm Memorias del Volcán, an intergenerational conversation on the memories linked to Timanfaya, in collaboration with the Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, in the Plaza de San Roque.

Then a concert by the Agrupación Cultural Acatife at the Salón Social de Tinajo.
After that, comedian Kike Pérez closes the fiestas.
