The verbenas and fiestas to enjoy in Lanzarote this weekend (14-16 Aug)

Lanzarote faces another weekend packed with local fiestas, verbenas and concerts across the island. From 14 to 16 August, Arrecife, San Bartolomé and Tinajo host much of the festive activity, coinciding with the celebrations of San Ginés, the patron saint festivities of San Bartolomé and San Roque.

Rock, parrandas and the big verbenas will share the spotlight with names such as Las K-Narias and Toti Sanz and many of the island's dance bands and groups. These are some of the main options for the weekend.

Arrecife

The Fiestas de San Ginés begin this Friday 14 August with a big night of music. At 9:00 pm, the Parque Islas Canarias will host the 33rd Festival de Rock San Ginés 2026, with performances by Rat-Zinger, Underground Kombustible, Galiot, Drûpe and Jayra. At the same time, the Noche de Parrandas at the ventorrillos gets under way on Avenida Vargas, running until 2:30 am with Son del Norte, Los Labradores and Tinasoria.

On Saturday 15 August, the party continues in the Parque José Ramírez Cerdá with a verbena starting at 10:30 pm and running until 3:30 am, with music from Vocal Force and Los Conejeros.

San Bartolomé

The Fiestas Patronales de San Bartolomé will enjoy one of their big nights of the weekend on Saturday 15 August. From 11:00 pm, the Parque Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente will host a popular verbena with Tremendo Son, Mambo Latino and DJ Javi Fajardo.

Tinajo

The Fiestas de San Roque will also have a particularly musical weekend. On Friday 14 August, Las K-Narias take the stage in the Plaza de San Roque at 9:30 pm, followed by Toti Sanz at 10:45 pm. The night then continues with a verbena featuring Mambo Latino and Banda Nueva.

On Saturday 15 August, the music returns to the Plaza de San Roque with another of the big verbenas of the fiestas. From 10:30 pm, La Resistencia and Mambo con Fuego will perform.
