Summer continues to fill Lanzarote's squares with music, and this weekend brings another packed run of verbenas for every taste. From Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 July, municipalities and villages across the island will celebrate their patron saint fiestas with orchestras, popular groups, DJs and open-air festivals to liven up the summer nights.
La Graciosa, La Santa, Playa Blanca, Tahiche and Guatiza account for much of the musical programme over these days, with everything from traditional verbenas (open-air street dances) to colour festivals and performances by bands and orchestras with a long track record on the Canarian fiesta circuit.
