CIC El Almacén will host on 4 June a singular audiovisual event bringing together cult cinema and live music with a reinterpretation of Taxi Driver by Bilbao producer Zabala, as part of an event driven by Sonidos Líquidos and the Festival Internacional de Cine de Lanzarote.
The experience offers a fresh sonic take on Martin Scorsese's legendary film, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the picture starring Robert De Niro. Zabala will provide a live score to this landmark work of contemporary cinema, creating an immersive atmosphere that converses with the film's nocturnal, psychological world.
The event takes place at El Almacén, in Arrecife, on Thursday 4 June at 20:00. Tickets cost €12 and the event is for over-18s only.
Tickets can be purchased through the Ecoentradas platform, with prices adapted to make access easier for local audiences. Booking in advance is recommended, particularly for events that have historically drawn high demand on the island.
