Güime celebrates its patronal festivities in honour of San Antonio de Padua with a diverse and participatory programme designed by the Ayuntamiento de San Bartolomé to foster community spirit, preserve traditions and offer activities for all ages.
Events run from 5 to 13 June, combining cultural, musical, children's, sporting, gastronomic and religious activities that turn Güime into a gathering point for residents and visitors alike.
Friday 5 June — Children's playback at 20:30. Night of parrandas with Son del Norte, Gurfines Son los del Puerto and El Golpito at 22:00.
Saturday 6 June — Talk: "Tengo un nudo en la barriga" on managing children's anxiety, plus children's entertainment with inflatables, VR and workshops, Zumba, adult playback at 21:00 and a street party with Nueva Stella, Vocal Force and Los Conejeros at 23:00.
Sunday 7 June — Foam party, children's workshops, community gathering with parranda Pal Porrón.
Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 June — Chess and craft workshops, bingo, board game tournaments and more.
Friday 12 June — Book presentation, Canarian wrestling and live music with Café con Leche, Orquesta Los Jarvac and DJ Ángel Pérez.
Saturday 13 June — Wine, cheese and gofio tasting, mass and procession, community theatre and fireworks.
