Agustín Espinosa's literary universe and his singular vision of Lanzarote come to the Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes with Lancelot 28º-7º, a stage production that blends cabaret, electronic music, operatic singing, performance and humour. The show can be seen on 11 September at 8:00 pm.
The piece takes as its starting point the book of the same name by one of the key figures of Canarian surrealism, building a contemporary, free and irreverent reading of the Lanzarote that Espinosa imagined. José Carlos Campos plays the writer and guides the audience through this singular island geography, joined by composer and performer Belén Álvarez Doreste–Lajalada, who builds the piece's electronic soundscape live, and tenor Manuel Gómez Ruiz, who brings operatic singing into the play of stage and sound.
Lancelot 28º-7º was selected in the 2026-2027 call for cultural projects of the Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo de Lanzarote. Tickets for the show are now on sale on the CACT website.
