The Sabatea, teatro en los barrios series continues this Saturday 29 August, at 11:30 am, with a performance of Caperucita 5.0 at the Centro Sociocultural de San Francisco Javier. The show, by the company Artus Teatro y Vida, is free to attend until capacity is reached.
The production is designed especially for children and families and is part of a series that aims to take the performing arts straight into the neighbourhoods of Arrecife through adapted, participatory shows. Sabatea began last July in Argana Baja with El traje nuevo, a version of the Hans Christian Andersen classic performed by Emaná Teatro.
The performance of Caperucita 5.0 is the second stop on a programme that will travel around different community centres in the capital, giving children and families the chance to discover theatre in their own neighbourhoods.
