This September Yaiza launches Cuento Contigo, a programme to bring libraries and cultural spaces to life with a series of sessions for families with babies, children, young people and adults. Run by the Asociación La Mar de Bien Lanzarote, the project will tour Playa Blanca, Yaiza and Femés until December.
The first session takes place on Friday 11 September at 5:00 pm at the Biblioteca Javier Caídas in Playa Blanca and is aimed especially at families with babies. The same format returns on Friday 6 November, also at 5:00 pm, at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas in Yaiza.
Activities for all ages
Children have two dates, both at 5:30 pm. The first is on Friday 9 October at the Playa Blanca library, and the second on Friday 11 December at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas in Yaiza.
Cuento Contigo also sets aside two sessions for young people and adults, both at 8:00 pm. On Friday 30 October the activity moves to La Casona de Femés, and on Friday 13 November to the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas in Yaiza.
