Haría is ready to celebrate its patron saint festivities in honour of San Juan Bautista from 5 to 24 June, with a packed programme of cultural, sporting, musical, religious and traditional events. The programme ranges from sporting competitions and folk gatherings to exhibitions, children's activities, concerts and the most anticipated events of the season: the Romería de San Juan, the Night of Fire and the Haría Awards.
Highlights include the 1st Festival de la Canción de Haría San Juan 2026, an exhibition dedicated to José Clavijo y Fajardo, the 25th anniversary of the Mercado Haría Artesanal and a new edition of the Festival Malpaís de la Corona. Established events also return, such as the 47th Subida a Haría hill climb, the Torneo San Juan de Lucha Canaria and the traditional salt carpet-making for Corpus Christi.
The festivities culminate on 23 June with the 28th Haría Awards ceremony, the posthumous naming of Juan Santana de León as Hijo Predilecto (Favoured Son) of the municipality and the Night of Fire, before closing on the 24th with the solemn mass and procession in honour of San Juan Bautista.
