Contemporary jazz takes over Arrecife this Friday with Ancor Miranda Quartet

The courtyard of the Centro Cívico de Arrecife will host a new date in the JazzenArrecife season this Friday 19 June with a performance by Ancor Miranda Quartet, a band committed to a contemporary jazz built on improvisation, dialogue between musicians and the creation of soundscapes that are unique to each concert.

The project is led by Lanzarote drummer Ancor Miranda and also brings together double bassist Agustín Buenafuente, guitarist Alex Janssen and trumpeter Idafe Pérez. The quartet performs original compositions in which each musician brings their own personality, generating a constant exchange that makes every performance a one-off experience for the audience.

The concert begins at 20:00 and admission is free until the venue reaches capacity. Doors open on a first-come, first-served basis, so audiences are advised to arrive early to secure a place at one of the most distinctive musical events in the capital's cultural programme.
